The terms that apply to services provided by Prepress Setter Services FZ-LLC.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to all services provided by Prepress Setter Services FZ-LLC, RAKEZ Licence No. 47033618, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE (“we”, “us”) to a client (“you”). By accepting a quote or authorizing us to carry out work, you agree to these terms. If a written quote or agreement signed by both parties conflicts with these terms, the signed document applies.
2. Our services
We provide installation, repair and maintenance of prepress equipment, and remote computer and printer IT support. We do not sell or supply equipment, parts or consumables.
We are an independent service provider and are not affiliated with or authorized by any equipment manufacturer. Manufacturer and brand names are used only to identify the equipment we service. Work by an independent service provider may affect a manufacturer’s warranty, so please check your warranty terms before requesting service.
3. Quotes and scope
Services are provided as quoted. The quote sets out the scope, price and any assumptions. Work outside the quoted scope is carried out only with your approval and may be charged separately. Any timings we give are estimates and not guaranteed, as they depend on the condition of the equipment, access and the availability of parts you supply.
4. Your responsibilities
- Backups: you are responsible for backing up all data, files, software, settings and licence information before any on-site or remote service, unless a backup is expressly included in the quoted scope.
- Give us accurate information about the equipment, its history and the fault.
- Provide safe access to the equipment, a suitable working environment, power and any site permissions needed.
- Make sure you own the equipment or have authority to request work on it, and that any software we work on is properly licensed.
5. Remote sessions
Remote sessions are only conducted with the client’s explicit authorization. You may end a remote session at any time. We access only the systems needed for the work you have requested.
6. Parts and third-party items
Any parts, consumables, software or other items used in the work are supplied by you or by a third party you choose. We are not liable for the quality, suitability, availability, performance or warranty of third-party parts, consumables or software, or for faults they cause.
7. Pre-existing faults
We are not liable for faults, damage, wear or defects that existed before our service, or that result from the age or condition of the equipment, previous repairs, modifications, misuse, or the operating environment. This includes such faults that appear or reappear after our work.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any service is limited to the value of the service invoice for that specific service.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, revenue, profit, data or business opportunity, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable UAE law.
9. Payment
Payment terms are set out in the quote or invoice.
10. Website information
Information on this website is general and may change without notice. It is not an offer and does not form part of any contract unless included in a quote.
11. Governing law
These terms and any services we provide are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a service is the one in effect when you accepted the quote. Questions: [email protected].
